Whisky Band Name?

The members of my band have tasked me with finding an acceptable name. I seem to be incapable of doing such, so I though some of you might be able to recommend a good name or two for us, preferably with some sort of whisky connection (anything from the most conventional to incredibly obscure is fine).

We’ve been playing almost two years. We play originals, sort of arty rock-n-roll songs. We sound like a “bar band’, but since we have a lot of connections in the art community, we end up playing more art gallery/art openings than bars – go figure. But none of that really matters, we just need a dumb name for now. So any suggestions from this esteemed international fellowship would be greatly appreciated. Any ideas?

A whole world (or at least Scotland) of possibilities.

You could play with the word "Peat" in place of "beat".

Immediately coming to mind is something like "The Peatnicks".

Or you could just select a place name, Jura, Iona .......

I always wanted to name a band Malt Barley & The Alers, but that won't work for you.
