Saw Micheal Jackson on "Late Night W/Conan O'Brian last night. Yup, he looks like a writer. Seems to know his stuff about beer. Too bad Conan wouldn't let him talk - more interested in one-liners...

I saw that show myself. I don't think Conan was really the problem. I had a really annoying guest who would not shut up.

Was it just me, or did Michale look a bit tipsy?

A whisky-drinking buddy of mine emailed to tell me that Jackson was a disgrace on Conan O'Brien. Said he was right liquored up. I haven't seen it myself, but my buddy was rather animated about the show.

The show was only about beer and Conan didn't let him talk because he could barely speak. At first, I thought he had Parkinsons disease because he was fidgetting around in a very odd manner and could barely reach the beer on the table in front of him (his gut was in the way). Still not sure. Either there is something seriously wrong with him, or he was just bombed, and while I have no problem with getting bombed he came off as a drunken idiot who turned his problem into a job.

Too bad, I was looking forward to it.

Interestingly in MJ's most recent article in Malt Advocate he addresses rumors that he was drunk on Conan's show by stating that he hadn't had anything more potent than Starbuck's.
