Who Have You Met From The Forum?

This is my usual round, although mine includes House of Frasier which is the worst to go in for prices. You sometimes get lucky, I got a Bushmills 16yo for £24 once.

Forgot to include HOF, which is actually my most frequent haunt though I buy infrequently because, as you say, the prices are not great (though is easy to put on HOF card when short of cash).

Yup. it is amazing! I have 2, Nick has one...

Really puts life into perspective. when "we" were pregnant with Jemima(how new age is that?!?) I was quite depressed for the first few months, because I was worried that I had not properly resolved my childhood dramas and traumas and might pass them on, as in "the sins of the father..." until a wise friend said to me: "The fact that you're even conscious enough to be worried about that should give you hope. Most people don't even consider it."

From then on, it was all positive!

Now I wonder, do they learn more from me, or do I learn more from them?

It's likely, you'll learn more from them. At least for the 5 or 6 years. Mine are 8 and it's starting to go the other direction.

At Easter she overheard her mother discussing housework with HER mother. "Mum, you know that I'm a complete slut when it comes to dusting!"

3 days later Lucie walks into pre-school to pick up Jemima, and hears her announcing to the headmistress, the other parents, children:

"My mummy's a slut!"

I met a couple of resident denizens on my trip north. First was our local Ardbeg crazy, lohssanami, aka Tim. Great drammin' with you and Mikey! Up in Washington I got together with Knolly from Vancouver. Thank you for the Bowmore samples. Notes to come.

Met Mr. Tattie Heid and a friend of his along with Willie JJ and several from the WhiskyWhisky Whisky forum for a few drinks at the Bow Bar here in Edinburgh last night. Quite an enjoyable night with quite enjoyable people!

Quite an overdue note but I met Wave and Willie JJ at the Bow Bar on the last night of my most recent trip to Scotland last September. Always hard to see a holiday end but sharing a few drams with new friends makes it so much easier. We enjoyed a few drams and pints. Mr.Tattie Heid was there as well. a better and more knowledgeable traveling companion is not to be found.
