Scots smoking ban

Postby ApriliaKen » Wed Apr 26, 2006 10:11 pm

Had a fine couple of drinks in the Bow Bar in Edinburgh last weekend - a Highland Park 12 and a splendid Lagavulin to go with my beer (Timothy Taylor, I think) and I was delighted at the change from the smokey joint I "remembered" from oh so many, many, many rugby internationals over the years.

Clean taste, clean bar, clean clothes at the end of it and the confirmation that the Lagavulin needed no extra passive smoke...

I stopped by the Bow Bar several times last October. It really is a great whisky bar. I should be back there again this coming October and I'm looking forward to experiencing the difference that the absence of smoke makes.

Cheers,

It's a great whisky pub!

It's a great beer pub!

It's two...two...two pubs in one! Oh, I am so looking forward to hanging in my favorite Scottish pubs this year.

What's up with glassware, Ken?
