Just came back from visitin relatives living at an alpine resort in at the mouintain plateau - or roof of Norway as we like to call it. Had a brisk walk lasting for a few hours and it was lovely. Incredibly windy so it would be too dangerous to climb the mountain ridge called Hallingskaret. Nevertheless, it was wonderful.
A nice overview of what is only a small part of the area. If you look closely you'll se a mountain farm to the middle left in the picture to appreciate how enormous the area is.

This cute little goat followed us for a long time. He certainly wansn't going to be stopped by the fence. Makes you think why bother at all to close the gates:

It's amazing what one can find up there in the mountains.
