I spent way too long figuring this out, proving once again that I don't have enough to do. There is a little guesswork involved on several vintage-dated bottles, and I assumed an average of eight years old for eleven NAS bottles--these include AVY and Oogling, which obviously are younger; Glenmorangie wood finishes, reputed to be tens, anyway; and a few others. 81 bottles, ranging from 6 to 30 years old (emptied the Sig Islay 5 in September!), every possible age between but 8, 9, 19, and 23; totalling 1246 years in the barrel (and considerably more, considering the youngest etc) for an average age of 15.38. Interestingly, the median bottle--#41 of 81--is 15.
