Wendy wrote:Hi Lawrence,
There has been a fair bit of speculation around the Laphroaig distribution in Canada. At one point, at least in Ontario, the rumour was that the 10 yo supply would be discontinued and replaced by the QC. As I favour the QC over the 10 yo, I would welcome a shipment. In saying that, it is good to know that there is plenty of Laphroaig, but whether it hits our (LCBO) shelves is always a different matter.
Cheers,
Wendy
Lawrence wrote:Hi Wendy, here in BC the LQC is being listed on the stock sheets so I expect it will be arrving in due course. I find it hard it hard to believe that they're abandoning the the L10 but that seems to be what's happening!
I'm glad I stocked up.

Either all these things fly straight past me in the Netherlands or my local whisky shop just orders massive amounts of whisky so he never runs dry on any kind of bottle. Anyway, great for the rest of the world that it's coming back

The QC is available in BC, and we are well through our second bottle...but it isn't the same!

Haven't seen the QC here yet, but I am sure specialists liquor stores have them.

They've withdrawn the L10 from CANADA and replaced it with LQC. There is not indication so far that the Canadian switchero has occurred anywhere else.
