I haven't voted in this poll because, truth be told, I prefer ginger ale when I occasionally do reach for a soft drink to add to whisky. And in those instances, I find a Highland single malt or blended Scotch works best.

Crown Royal and Coke is, of course, an established classic, though a good middle-of-the-road Bourbon would probably mix just as well.

did anyone see that video thing with Richard, the guy from White & Mackay, and a barman mixing cocktails. they whisky companies are delighted to have thier product drunk in any way. Then don't even mind if most of it is spilled.

Actually, the real question is what is the best Cola to go with the non-chill filtered no caramel cask strength quadruple wood single malt mega peaty single malt.

Coca Cola is a little bitter perhaps, Pepsi quite sweet. Aldi do a good own label that seems to accentuate the oily leathery undertones of the whiskey which is okay for home use but it's hard to get ithat particular cola in night clubs!

in Spain supermarket i can buy White Horse för 8 euros around 7 dollar and is so good with Cola! Had any one try Japanese Whisky or Chivas with Cola?

The only things I have drank with Coke is Makers Mark, Crown Royal, and Jack Daniels but that was when I was like 20yrs old. I don't do that anymore. So, i can't really answer the question but I figured I would put in my two cents.

Vodka and coke sounds rather disgusting. I usually drink it on the rocks. Well there are a lot of people who can't take vodka. Yes there definitely is.

As bizarre as it may seem, I have an answer to this question:

Cola drinks are fairly assertive on their own, so you need an assertive whisky as a complement. Forget the Lowlanders, the Speysides, the Highlanders, the Bourbons, the Ryes, the Canadians...forget everybody.

You need the cheapest rotgut available: that way, you wont cry in your drink for wasting a $20 dram mixed with crappy cola.

You actually could ruin the coke with Georgia Moon, had it a long time ago think I mixed it with coke quite disgusting. Not sure what you would mix georgia moon with. I think the toilet would be a good idea or polish a chrome bumper

The only alcohol drink I mixed with coca cola is rum. And that was when I was very young and the objective is to get drunk quickly. I dont like the sweetness of cola.
