Head to Head Deathamtch - pt 2

Postby Drammed » Sat Sep 05, 2009 6:03 pm

I see these are becoming popular so it's time for my second head to head as I really have a hard time choosing between the next 2 combatants. I don't know if ther are as many people who have tried both of these but I find both great drams. anyway....

Ding Ding Ding!

In the Speyside corner we have Glenlivit Nadurra (57.6%)

and reping the Highlands, Glenmorangie Nectar D'or.

Both have a great honey/vanilla thing but which one reigns supreme?

I'll post my choice after the polls close as to not sway people either way.

I did not vote since the only Glenmorangie I have had is the 10 year. I like Nadurra OK, but not that much better than the 12, and not as well as the 18.

I prefer the Nectar D'Or, although the Nadurra is very close 8)

Nectar D'or for me, however I've
only tried the Nadurra once.

Has to be the Nadurra for me, I find the Nectar D'or too sweet and the somehow the finishing doesn't seem to integrate with the base whisky taste.
