Which Ardbeg, of the 3 core lines, do you purchase the most?

I voted for the 10yo although I also buy the Oogie regurarly, but not as often as the 10yo. I savour the Oogie a lot more. The 10yo is an 'easy drinking' whisky for me.

Well, I voted 10 but I've purchased as many of the Beist. However, the tie breaker is that the 10 will be around longer so more likely to surpass the Beist down the road - I should say that it is my understanding that the Beist is no more and is replaced by the new Corryvrekn bottling.

I agree with that...but in these times I have to sadly admit that there hasn't been a drop of Ardbeg in the hoose noo for a couple of months at LEAST.

It's the Oogie for me. It is widely available here, and for my taste is more consistent than the 10.

But with the phasing out of the Beist and the high price point of the Corryvreckan, I think this question is going to become quite academic soon.

Now more 10yo than any other Ardbeg. However, over the last two years I have had more bottles of the 'Almost There' than even of the 10.

10 YO & Almost There are neck and neck at the moment but my local off licence still has the Almost There at £37 so I can see this changing very soon as most other places are charging a fair bit more.

For me the 10Y old. Here in the Netherlands for les than 40 euro a litre.
That's a lot of high quality whisky for 40 euro.

Interesting on the pricing. My state stores have just voted to make a one-time purchase of the Corryvreckan and it looks like they'll be selling it for $20/bottle less than they did the Oogie, Beist, or Supernova - $79.99 instead of $99.99.

Lockejn, you are making me jealous, the Beist is $140 out here, the Uigeadail $110 and we never got the Supernova. GRRR

Well don't be too jealous. None of them are stocked regularly. The Supernova, for instance, was a one-time buy of like six cases for the entire state. This time around I think they only purchased four cases. If I want one I'll probably have to drive a fair distance and do it quickly before they disappear.

I'm not a fan of the Ten preferring older Ardbegs's, so Beist for me, regular price $99.99 at Binny's though I got my last 3 when on a $10 off sale several months ago.

Uige is $134 cdn ($126 usd) and Nam Beist is $125 cdn ($118 usd) here in BC. heck regular 10 is $94 cdn ($88.50 usd). total and complete ripoff!!

Well I have bought 2 10's, 1 Uigeadail, and 1 Beist. So I voted for the 10 since I have bought more.

It would be the Ten for me but Tesco haven't had it for ages, indeed no Ardbeg and even fewer other malts so i resort to Oddbins. Because the Beast is going i've been stocking up (4 bottles now, a 5th open), Oddbins oddly haven't had the Ten in for a while and the Beasts just seem to sit there gathering dust until i walk in.

As the Beast is beginning to hit £55 in most places i can see i'll be getting it fro Oddbins more and more. But if i order online and the price for the Beast is good i'll just add one to my order.

I pick up the TEN when I find it for $50 or less, which is not too common anymore.

I picked up a few ANB since they went down a bit in price, and I'm pretty stocked up on Uigeadail as well.

I don't know if I'll pick up many Supernova's as the $130 or so price tag is bothersome.

When I first came down with my Ardbeg condition, the TEN sold for $46.99 on average (January 2008). In just a couple of months, the prices ranged between $55 and $70, and only recently has it been put back down near the $40's in a few places.

BTW Ganga, I'll bring the new Corry and Committee Corry, among others, to our gathering for evaluation.

10 Year Old here as well... This fact is, alas, solely due to issues of availability locally (the 10YO retails for just a little more than CDN$60 and can almost always be found on the shelves). Not that I haven't suggested to personnel at my provincial liquor monopoly that offering of a wider range of the distillery's line is long overdue!

I take some conparative comfort in knowing that my neighbours in Ontario (through the LCBO) are obligated to lay down close to CDN$100 for the very same whisky.
