Battle for the Glens

Ok, I've decided to give you a choice of a couple of Glens this time.

Glenlochy v. Glenugie. Which of these two would you consider for your next purchase from a closed distillery?

For the next purchase? I would probably choose the Glenugie simply because I don't have any.

After getting/having the Celtic Heartlands Glenugie... It is all about the 'ugie for this pair.

I couldnt resist logging back in to post on this thread. Im a real sucker for these lost highland distilleries. Both are exellent whiskies, a recent Glenlochy from DTC was amazing. However, my vote goes to Glenugie. A real old skool highlander there really is nothing else like it, in my opinion. And it took very well to sherry maturation (always a plus in my books).

I think the Ugie (thinking Hearlands here) has higher potential but have had a more pleasant experience going through the Lochy range.

Glenugie here too. Like Willie, simply because I don't have any (yet).
I already have a Glenlochy (19yo '77 Cadenhead).

Cheers!
