I absolutely love Talisker and Ardbeg. Is this whisky worth it as a treat http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-9616.aspx

or am I better to just save the extra money and getting a 1litre bottle of the standard 10 of Talisker?

I would always go for the IB first, you can pick up an OB at anytime

Completely agree on the IB vs. OB. The Adelphi will likely be gone very shortly while the OB will certainly be here today, tomorrow and a year from now.

echoing the first two replies, I would add that it is always fun to try something new - there will always be good whiskies coming out, so no need to hang on to what you already know
