How often do you drink whisky in average ?

I would like to know how often do you drink whisky. In your post, you can tell us in which occasion(s) you drink (or you don't drink) whisky.

It varies up and down for me. I would say normally Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Way to go Dubois! I voted 6 times per week. Sometimes it's less because I like a good beer as well but I also pour a smaller dram than the usual 5cl. That way my bottles last longer.

For me it's 4-5 days a week (I voted 4). Most of the time, I enjoy a good whisky after supper. I rarely get an entire dram though (50ml). In weekends, I tend to drink like 1-2 drams per day.

I am finally recovered from a persistent chest infection that had me on stoppage of grog for the last few months. I now have a dram most evenings to get back into my single malts. At the moment I have a Glenfarclas 15 and a Caol Ila 12 on the go to ease me back into the way of things.

It is between 4-5 days so i voted 5. I am trying to cut it down though as it seems like to more i drink the more my stomach is starting to stick out :headbang:

I needto bring it back down to 1-2 again and get the metabolism back up :thumbsup:

from the postings on "what are you drinking now" i gather most people are drinking 5+ different drams a night. if those people are drinking 4-6 nights a week, i have to ask if how many ounces your are pouring. cuz that must be killer on your liver

On average, I think 3 times a week.

One midweek and a couple at the weekend.

Sometimes very healthy portions.

Depends... Am I on a dry stretch, or thin budget currently, or do I have a bottle open that I would love to have a wee dram out of.

But when I am drinking and I have a bottle open, probably 3-5 times a week depending on my schedules the next day.

I bet some of you thought I was :dead:
