Glendronach15 vs Glenfarclas15 vs Bowmore15 - Vote and Discu

What is the question? The current Glendronach 15 is a hug improvement on the offering from 10 years ago. Glenfarclas 15 isn't available here. Which Bowmore 15. I've had the Mariner and the Darkest 15 (sherry).

Glenfarclas 15 is not available in my neck of the woods. But I have had the UK version from a few years ago. It is very good. Current Glendronach was a little better in my opinion.

I wasn't all that impressed with the Glendronach 15 and Bowmore OBs haven't been doing much for me for years now. Farclas 15, on the other hand, is great.

In this company, Glenfarclas 15 Year Old works for me as well (though I have to say I've also noted how good the current Bowmore Darkest 15 Year Old seems when compared to the 'ups and downs' of the previous no-age-statement version).

Haven't had the darkest, but out of the 'dronach and the 'farclas I'd take the 'farclas every time.

glendroanch for me. havent had the farclas 15, but from what i remember of the darkest, it was a bit soapy.

Ganga: This is what I love about the forums, we can have opposing viewpoints and still get along. I personally prefer the original (to me) version of Glendronach 15 (red tube) to the present green tube 15 yo.

I'm leaning towards the Glenfarclas 15 over the Glendronach and the Bowmore Mariner, based on memory. I think I have a Darkest downstairs as well, but until I can confirm with a HTH I won't vote in this poll yet. Stay tuned...
