Best bang for buck everyday single malt

I didn't vote for my favorite; I voted based on the topic which is bang for the buck. What really tips the scales in favor of Glenmorangie 10 is that I can get a 1.75 for $56 and sometimes Costco puts it on sale as well.

Ardbeg is probably the second one when I find it for around $45 follwed by HP 12 for around $40.

Laphroaig is suffering from growing pains. A year ago I was getting it for $30-33. Not worth the $45+ they want now.

Caol Ila is a 12 yo in these parts and runs quite a bit more than Ardbeg (closer to $60).

I believe Aberlour 12 (not seen the 10 in ages), Glenlivet 12, and Glenfiddich 12 are still good value.

At this precise point in time and in my neck of the woods, I would have to say that the best B-for-B would be Highland Park 12 Year Old.

My fave from that list is Ardbeg. Balvenie Doublewood and HP12 being close seconds and/or third.

Best price to quality: Doublewood, hands down. HP12 has gone up in price a lot, in the last year or two.

HP went up around CA about 2 years ago. for the most part it is $45 to 50. Balvenie went up over the last year. Selling for the same price as HP 12. prior to these price increases, HP 12 cost roughly $38 or about $4 more a bottle than the Doublewood.

On the other hand, there have been decreases in the costs to Glenmo PLC products. Glemo 18 is down to $80-85 from $120 to 140. Ardbeg 10 can be gotten for $45 instead of the $55 it had been increased to. Glenmo the Original is down to $30 for a 750 ml and $56 for 1.75 L. The 750 had been priced between $45 and 50 2 years ago.
