Thanks...I'd actually written that a couple of months ago and forgotten all about it...until T reminded me of it and I opened the magazine.

Got the bottle a few days ago and just opened it...here are my notes as posted elsewhere...

Color: Dark, rich amber and much like new motor oil...
Nose: Pipe tobacco, dry leaves, and wood burning in a fireplace...
Taste: Spicy and smoky with a noticeable hint of rum...
Finish: Smoky and lingering...

I thought it was excellent neat, but even better with a couple of drops of water. That let some of the fruity flavor come out and made the finish last even longer.
