Which Balvenie have you enjoyed the most?

My favorite is 15 Years Single Barrel.

I've enjoyed the 10 quite a bit and also the 1991 Port Wood.

The Founders Reserve evokes some sweet memories - for some sentimental reasons...
The 15yo (beware, just had one bottle!) stands out from the crowd.

1991 Portwood here although honorable mention goes to the Doublewood as everytime I drink it, I'm impressed by how inexpensive it is.

Of the ones mentioned, the 15, hands down. I had a dram of the 30 once, though...wowie kazowie. Wish I could afford a bottle!

They are all very good and it's hard to choose the number one. I regularly drink of the Doublewood and the younger Port Wood expressions and these are both fantastic drams. I have also tried the Islay Cask which was far better than I had expected...honey and peat in an amazing combination.
If I were to choose only one of the above I would go for the 15y. old. I just love the vanilla and coconut nose and although it's a Single Cask it's amazing how the quality remains from year to year.

Think I have to vote for the 21yo Portwood. But based on the single dram of 15yo old I have had, I think this would have been the favourite if I had had a chance to sample it more extensively. (Still need to finish a few bottles, before opening more.

)

That said, I enjoy the DW a lot and the 10yo is a cracking dram also....

Heck - if I could vote "Every one" I think that would be the option for me - Balvenie is just a very good dram IMHO.

Single Barrel 15yo for me

The 15 for me also. The unique bubblegum nose brings a smile to my face every time. The 21 PortWood is a close second if not on par. Stared at a 25yo in it's wooden box once but couldn't bring myself to go the $275US price tag. :cry:

The 15 is my #1, but I've never had the 21.

The 12 is good, sometimes I like it, other times it doesn't do much for me.

I had a glass of the 25yo while at a bar in Boston. It could have been the somewhat distracting setting, while it wasn't bad by any means, it didn't make any major impression.

The 15 is fine, IMHO, but I truly prefer the 25 yo Single Cask and it is my personal favorite Balvenie. Oh, and I don't need to...

try them again in a different order. In fact, try every possible permutation...
