Glenrothes without a shadow of a doubt none of the others come close for me.

Macallan at that age, but I voted Glenfarclas by mistake :roll:

Glenfarclas is great at 15 +.

I'm not fond of any of any of these as young as 12yo's though the older Glenrothes are second to none.

Is there going to be another poll rounding out the Speysides? If so the Longmorn & Glen Elgin 12's gets a big nod!

Out of my liquor cabinet! :mrgreen:

Actually it's called a Longmorn-Glenlivet, a G&M bottling that's been around for so long you can almost consider it a distillery bottling. It seems to be going by the wayside now though I can still pick up a bottle of it at a couple of the local liquor stores. In Scotland you can find it a LFW at a nice price of about £22.00.

I vote for Glenfarclas, it's my favorite kind of everyday malt - Sweet, but not too sweet, and a bit of a malty punch. I like the 12yo better than the 17yo.

Second place for me is glendronach 12. I found it to be very sweet, but in good and somewhat original way.

Don't like the Mac 12, and never had the glenrothes 12 (but I've had the 20yo - and didn't really take to it - go figure?)
