The Laphroaig is a great whisky, but it would be the Ardbeg for me...

No contest in favor of Ardbeg.

Now if Laphroaig were to start non chill-filtering the standard 10yo
and up the ABV to 46% . . . now that would be a contest
I would love to see

I loved Ardbeg 10, but the Laph is great as well, and can be found for 30 percent less at times, so, it may be a better value

I voted for the Laphroaig.

I like them both. A lot. Too much. But I can pick up the Laphroaig 10 at more then one location for $30, and the cheapest I can find the Ardbeg is $46.

I have bottles of both open in the cabinet, but I pick up the Laphroaig more often.

Ardbeg TEN - the best :P

Laph 10 - OK more affordable but they should really bottle it at 46% and omit the chill filtering.

These polls are rather limited in choice, why restrict it to 10 years old?

Surely best peaty Islay would have been a better poll?

For me: Probably Bruichladdich PC5 if you can get one at a reasonable price, followed by the 3D3. Maybe then Ardbeg 10.

I voted Ardbeg 10 as my pick. For a rounder, more balanced dram it wins my vote from these two. Might even be pouring myself one after dark tonight

I like Laphroaig 10, but Ardbeg 10 is my favourite of those two. And I recentrly discovered a place where I can get the Ardbeg for almost the same price as the Laphroaig :)

Ardberg 10 brought me back to the Islay style, The Laphroaig drove me away. Although, maybe I should give the Laphroaig another whirl...

Ardbeg 10 , The Laph 10 is a shadow of it's former self imo whereas THE TEN is the greatest all rounder ever .
