Presently running just over 60 Scotch malt whiskies on the go, plus an undetermined number of American, Canadian, Irish and Japanese whiskies.

You have headroom? Lucky! If I wear shoes in my basement whiskey Lair, I bump the top of my head on the joists! Barefoot, my hair just grazes the beams. I'm definitely way over 70 again with the tasting last weekend.

I've recently opened about 2 or 3 bottles, so that makes a total of 20 open bottles.

It would seem that Nick has heard the "Drink, drink, drink." chant. Time for a new chant. :D After all, his self-imposed limit is 100 open bottles. :P

It was 42 for a while (for obvious reasons) but I find as the stock reduces so does my perceived limit.

I don't set the limit. My better half gets grumpy when there are 'too many' bottles open. At the moment its 20 and she is not complaining so I'll probably maintain it around 20 plus or minus a few (or ten :D ).
