Good for you at Whiskibar - if your business can afford to hold such an item then why not - it certainly makes a statement. I'm sure it will look great on display and you will no doubt get someone who will bite and want to crack it. Not sure I would personally pay £155 for a dram but I would certainly not rule it out either - it would depend on the circumstances. On one hand £155 is a huge amount for a single dram but then, I was at Gleneagles recently and they had drams at up to £1000 (50YO Macallan Lalique) so, compared to this, it seems reasonable. I guess most collectors and enthusiasts would love to sample this iconic whisky, me included, and it would be a good story to tell the grandchildren. Just thinking how many HBoS shares I would have to sell to fund this little indulgence.......
