Good for you at Whiskibar - if your business can afford to hold such an item then why not - it certainly makes a statement. I'm sure it will look great on display and you will no doubt get someone who will bite and want to crack it. Not sure I would personally pay £155 for a dram but I would certainly not rule it out either - it would depend on the circumstances. On one hand £155 is a huge amount for a single dram but then, I was at Gleneagles recently and they had drams at up to £1000 (50YO Macallan Lalique) so, compared to this, it seems reasonable. I guess most collectors and enthusiasts would love to sample this iconic whisky, me included, and it would be a good story to tell the grandchildren. Just thinking how many HBoS shares I would have to sell to fund this little indulgence.......

Maybe yes, I'd pay ~£150 if this was the 1974 expression.

From a business perspective it might be nice to have a very high price point that would make other prices look lower by comparison. You might be able to sell more mid-range whiskies at slightly higher prices....

If i had 155 i would rather buy a Brora BOTTLE. I would have to say no.

No but if you can find people stupid enough to pay that kind of money then get on and relieve them of as much of it as you can. Good luck.

Said it before, but I'd sooner buy a BOTTLE of Lagavulin 21 YO.

Only had a tiny sample, but, wow! wow! wow! wow!

A memorable experience. Rare. like the 50 YO Macallan i once nosed and drank.

i can still smell it. ditto the Lag 21. i can still taste it...
