Which is your favourite new Ardie

I don't know the Committee Reserve but all the others and for me the Almost There is best. What do you think?

I like them all, but it has to be the Renaissance for me. I find it addictive and have consumed 4 bottles already. :D

Another vote for the Renaissance. It really impressed me and made me long even more for the new Ten.

Can't get enough of this. I didn't have the luck to get a bottle of very young. I need it then I will have them all (if anyone has a spare, hint hint, pm me) But out of the others I liked the Renaissance best.

By "new Ardie" I take it you mean Ardbeg from the spirit distilled within the last 10 years as opposed to products that contain older whiskies such as the Beist and Oogie.

While I find the Renaissance to be quite good, I much prefer the Almost There. It must be one of those things that it fits me perfectly and the Renaissance just is a little off from this profile.

I've only tried the AR, and I loved it.
But a vote from me wouldn't really be fair here, so I didn't vote.

Like ryguy I also didn't vote although I have tasted the VY, SY and AT I really didn't care for any of them, too young in my opinion. The Beist rules!

Cheers!

inspired by the votes so far I decided to blind taste the AR and the AAT head-2-head.

Result: AR 3 - AAT 1

AAT won only in "nose in cask strength" where I find the AR missing everything. The AAT has a nice floral note and after a few minutes after that is gone there comes a bready-buttery note.
After adding water the AR wins all as IMHO water does the AAT no good.
The AR has a spicey-peppery-metallic start which is not as bold when diluted, but very pleasing even with lots of water. :P
I diluted both down to under 25% and the AAT is loosing more and more with adding water. :?

If I had to vote again I would vote for the AR now.

Very Young and Still Young were waaay too young for my taste. But tasting was very interesting indeed when you try them all in a row.. Almost there is imho splendid and I would have voted blindfold for this bottle but over the last weeks I sampled more than once the Renaissance, without water, then with etc.. and it's so nice I now would vote for Renaissance too.
Now, there's the Beist.. it's difficult to compare as it's not a CS... but the Beist has these flavours and tarry smoke tones that I always link to "old", less citrussy ardbeg.. Aaack. Difficult.
Renaissance or the Beist, I still don't know but between Renaissance and Almost there, I'd say Renaissance too.

I have not tried the VY or VY com.

Out of the others my fav is the AT with AR a very close 2nd, i would be happy with a dram of either. The SY is too young for me.
