It will depend very much on (a) the price point and (b) the size of the bottling.

But I do believe that Laddie utterly took the p*ss asking £60 for an 18,000 bottle run of 6 year old. And the multiple tins stunt was pathetic!

The PC7 is a smaller run; I don't know the exact size, but they've clearly learnt the lesson. Oddbins now have it on their system and it will be priced in their shops at £62.99.

So the price is high bet there is less of it. Time will tell if that is enough to push us into buying.

No desire to purchase anymore of the PC series. I can only imagine that it will price out at about $160 as they jumped the PC6 by $20 when it came in. I'll stick with the Ardbegs instead.

I may try to get a sample of it, but I won't be breaking down any doors to buy it yet.

As Ganga said, I'll buy Ardbegs too!

...and for all those gits complaining about Ardbeg popping out bottles at ridiculous prices...why don't you go complain to Bruichladdich?

...and just to keep my comments in perspective, nothing wrong with people paying the money if they want.

It is also not just these two distilleries with high prices, but they are the two of the more popular that get targets on them.

Back to PC7, if I taste it and really like it, I'd buy a bottle.

Won't buy them, since it will be ACE'd.

Prefer to buy the Bruichladdich 1998 Manzanillan and Oloroso :-)
