Nose: Honey, vanilla custard, cream - yumm
Palate: This is amazing. There is so much going on here that it's hard to identify individual components. But it's just lovely. Sweet, malty, creamy, spicey, oaky, sherry?, everything
Finish: Long, long. Vanilla, oak and raisins.
Fantastic! I love the 15 but you can't get it. This is available in Waitrose. It is going on my "always have one open" list. Just need to buy some....

Not all of them, but the hit rate so far has been exceptionally high.
Just some fantastic samples sent to me by you guys out there.
Thank you to all for opening my eyes to this unexplored area!

I'm trying the Cadenhead 14 yr old peated single cask.
Stewed fruit, smoke, sweet then bitter, aniseed. Vanilla.

I can't my head round this one at all - to me it's like the Bushmills 10, just bland, but the rum cask influence seems to have given it a tangy, off-key element.
I have now tried this about 6 or 7 times, after buying it earlier this year, and can't fathom it out. I only bought it after being bored out of my skull one time sitting in an airport lounge - and I have about 80cl left of the 1L bottle, yikes. It's not bad, just not very good
