Hmm. An interesting thought. Would the sauternes work for that long a period with Ardbeg?

G, it's good to have one that supports your enthusiasm. Problem is what it does to stocks.

It depletes stocks Rich, but it increases buying power. :)

You guys are obviously having a nice time - I'm out of Glenmoringie but taste the Signet and Astar at recent whisky festival and they were among the highlights of the festival. Enjoy!

I've only the Glenmo NdO, which I think is nice, but what I've read here(and I already knew it before) I'm going for the Astar(or Signet?) :P

Still drinking Lasanta, still not bored of it. The Oloroso influence is great, nice chocolate and nuts.

Expression - Glenmorangie - Nectar D'Or
ABV - 46%
Colour - Deep gold
Nose - Very sweet. The malt is there, but it is enveloped in soft white fruits, again dusted with icing sugar. Is that Glenmo, or is it just me tonight?
Palate - great interplay between the malt, vanilla and some sweet and sourish fruits.
Finish - Long, gentle and mouth-watering. Like sucking some kind of alcaholic barley sugar. Just brilliant.
Comments - Very sweet, but if you have no issues with that, this is a great dram. Another cracker for the drinks cabinet.
