Bunnahabhain 9yo cask 5271 59% Signatory
n: grapes, grapeskins, plums, dark fruits, forest fuits, brown sugar,sherry, soot (quiet a lot)
t: sulphur, almost like some Springbanks i know, some wood too, after adding some water its sweeter (better).
f: sulphury forest fruits
c: at first it smelled too much of alcohol, after ten minutes it was ok. a powerful whisky. the nose is very good, the taste is too sulphury for tonight

Bunnahabhain 27yo 1979 46% Speciality Drinks(TWE)
n: round- and sweetnes all over, vanilla cake, baklava, butter, butterscotch, cream.
t: like the nose but with more wood, spicy butter,
f: vanilla cream with fresh mint and a little cane sugar, :D
c: the smell of this whisky is just incredible.

I'd like to thank everyone that came out for the Bunnahabhain tasting. :thumbsup: I promise to return with a fresh look at the Bunna in the near future - once the allergies subside.

Next up, May 15-17, Auchentoshan. Hopefully everyone can find something out there.
