Bowmore MWBH 19yo 54.7%

Nose: Loads of power here. Straight into the fishmarket, this is what Bowmore is all about for me. Marine diesel, the water splashing on Bowmore harbour, salt spray. But there's a lovely vanilla sweetness and malt in there if you look hard enough. Yummy!
Palate: Its the barley sugar that's at the front of the palate. Sweet and clear. Plenty of sweet smoke too with carbolic and sea shells and some shell fish.
Finish: Bonfires and burnt sticks. Ash and long gentle heat.
Comment: Excellent!
