Well, you don't have to be Irish to enjoy. Bring in some Irish whisky or beer.

Well, I had some Powers and Jamesons tonight (and it was the 17th there at the time). Will revist these during the 17th local time.

Starting with the Powers Gold. Still comes off as young.

A second pass through the Irish but with a brandy glass. Powers is up first. I think the whisky is much more mellow in this glass but still young.

The Jameson brandy glass. Little better nose but overall isn't really an improvement.

Nose on the Knappogue. Brandy glass really intensifies the nose thus making the palate even richer.

Onto the Red Breast 12 in the brandy glass. Huge fleshy fruits on the nose. Rich roasted malt on the palate.
