Some bacon fat, floral notes, wood smoke, raisins, and peat. Getting more floral with lots of salt and smoke. Some barley and leaves.

Big sherry, raisins, a hint of prunes, and some grapes. A little nuts but mostly sweet fruits. Some light floral notes and some oak as well. Not overly dry and if anything crazy sweet for the age. Yummy.

Wonderful soft peat, light sherry, some oak, pencil shavings and wood smoke. Some nuts and raisins. Just wondeful.

Lots of sherry. Brown sugar, cinnamon and cherries. Some oranges and cranberries. Also some rubber.

Looks fairly similar to many of the batches. Cherry seems to hit only once in awhile though.

Nose: black tea, nuts, slighty winey, cranberry jelly, charred oak, wood smoke
Palate: burnt oak, cherries flambet (sp?), walnuts
Finish: long, sweet and burnt
This is very good. The nose reminds me a lot of the PLOWED Benriach. Guess I should also post up on that one too.

This was one of my least favorite ones through the mide 20s. It is much better after being open for 4 to 5 years. Still winey but big caramel notes, nutty, oranges, xmas cider. Much better than when first opened.
