Apologies for not being around much recently. This looks like a good idea Glenrothes 15yo 1990 Cadenhead's 59.5% sherry butt
Nose : Bitter chocolate, raisins, hot sand, carbide and turnips. Definite signs of sulphur.
Taste : A flash of super whisky before the sulphur kicks in and crushes it beneath cordite and spent matches. This is the kind of sulphur that seems to appeal to some folk.
Finish : High temperature and a bit harsh with more spent matches.
Comment : I suspect that some will love this. I prefer clean casks and so this loses points from me. A pity, because without the sulphur it could have been great.
