The 18 yr OB is a great bottle. I really enjoy it too! Right now I'm not enjoying any HP, stuck here at work still.

A nice smooth enjoyable Highland Park, very good. A great way to kick off a Friday night. Headed over to visit a friend, I hope to make it back a little later to enjoy the 18y too! Enjoy everyone

Whoa!! A quick nosing found a fresh fresh ripe white peach, yeeeehaaaa! Delicious! Wow, beautiful, can't remember the last time I had a nice ripe white peach! (One of the drawbacks about living in the Northern part of the world.)

Nose : Honey, wisps of smoke, sweet malt, sherry, slightly flowery, something green - maybe apples? Palate : Honey, butterscotch, fire smoke (not like peaty medicinal smoke) pastry Finish : Slight prickle of spice. Comment : Makes me think of farmhouse kitchen with a big fireplace and dried flowers on the beams and a little old lady making butter-fudge while a sweet pie cools on the windowsill. Colour : Old Gold Score : 0
Age : 12 Years Old Vintage : 0 ABV : 40% Bottler : -	Type : Single Malt Region : Island (non Islay) Water : First without then with just the tiniest drop. Doesn't hold much. Ice : nope Glass : Glencairn Notes : -

Highland Park 12
Brand : Highland Park Expression : -
Nose : Sweet and a little floral. Some sherry and vanilla. Toffee, caramel and chocolate. Lots of fruit (citrus, pears, apples). Lightly minted. Notes of smoke (cigar?) and wood. A touch 'farmy' at times. Incredibly balanced! Palate : Mouth-coating. Surprising amount of smoke and earthiness. Very sweet - lots of toffee. A big fruitiness again (citrus again, banana). Lightly fragrant. Honeyed. Caramel and chocolate. Finish : Sweet but quite smoky. Slightly peaty. Minty and caramelised. Lasts a while. Comment : Lovely stuff, very moreish! Colour : Pale gold Score : 87

After a break for something to eat have resumed on the Hart Brothers 18yo and it's amazing how closely it resembles Nicks note for the 18yo O.b. even though it appears to be more 2nd or 3rd refill than the dark (Farven Justeret Med E150 !) release ......
