So what would be some good bottlings to look out for? I have never tried Mortlach but have heard very good things. I know Binny's has 10 or so to choose from. Thanks in advance for your insight.

Bob O - I just recently purchased my first, the 1991 Signatory Vintage 15 YO. I can't compare it to other Mortlach bottles, but by itself it is a great dram. I found this at Total Wine, which I think the closest to you is Roseville, probably a bit long of a hike.

One from Binny's that I've been enjoying of late is the Signatory Mortlach 1989 Vintage 17 Year Old Cask Strength for $65 and is one of the tastier Morty's I've had.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Signatory from Binnys is one of the ones I had my eye on. I just thought I would seek some input from the knowledgable crowd here.

Unfortunately Roseville is a bit of a jaunt, however my brother lives closer so I have let him know that if he finds himself in the area to pick one up.

The 16yo Flora & Fauna seems to be a big hit, and it's reasonably priced at Royal Mile Whiskies for £39.95 (Inc VAT).

It's worth a try I suppose. Plus it'd give me an excuse to buy another bottle. I'm loving the Scotts bottling.

- but expecting something to arrive soon - at least one more, possibly a sample of the 76.50

I've got a couple Morty's opened atm, a 1975 24yo Hart Brothers Cask Strength and a 17yo 1989 Signatory Cask Strength. Some that I haven't opened yet but can for the tasting are, 13yo 1990 Murray McDavid, 16yo 1988 Cadenhead and a 17yo 1980 Hart Brothers.

I'll be on later this evening, keeping it going for the US folks who are coming on late. My family lobster feed got moved to this afternoon, so I'll be enjoying Maine Lobster today!!
