How would you like a mystery dram to taste and sample for the coming festive season? Of course you would, then why not join the fun and sign up for our Mystery Drams Xmas Game.
Every applicant will be sent a mystery dram. We will tell you its region, ABV range and a special online dram code. You will be given no other information about the dram.
Samples will come from all corners of the world, could be of any age from new make spirit to 50 years old, and could be of any type from bourbon to single malts. We will try and make the list as interesting and varied as possible.
Taste It
When you have received your sample you should take the time to sample and get to know the dram. Have a look at our Nosing and Tasting course for some tips about tasting whisky.
Post It
Then post your tasting notes in the mystery drams topic for others to read.
Guess the drams
Once you have posted your own tasting notes you can start to guess your own and other members mystery drams. The complete list of drams will be available and you will have to match them against the members tasting notes.
Unlock your dram
If you can't wait for the results you can use your online code to unlock your mystery dram and find out what it is, but you will no longer be able to vote on your own dram.
Results
The correct guesses will be totaled and all drams unlocked. Full results will then be posted in the mystery drams topic. There can be only one winner, will it be you?
