It is a really good dram Sean.... It is a good beverage for the price. It is soft with the low %, but nice blend of spices on the palate.

Oh that sums it up doesn't it. .

It's what me and me mates use to say. Anyone can get drunk on Amateur's night (and usually do)....it takes a Pro to do it nightly as it was for me much of my 20's and 30's. So yeah, that quite sums it up.

Moving on to a nice Laphroaig

Laphroaig OMC 1992 11yo 57.8%

Very subtle nose, the peat is there but it's mostly engine oil and smoke. Very nice. The palate is surprisingly creamy and smooth, then tons of smokiness explodes towards the finish....very good bottling!
