Bruichladdich 1998 Sherry Edition

Has any one tried the Bruichladdich 1998 Sherry editions?

One is finished in Manzanilla barrels and the other in Oloroso barrels.

Tried them last night and liked the Manzanilla best. Bit drier then the Oloroso.

Of the two i prefer the Manzanilla but a bit pricey for a 10yr old.

These bottles come from the distillation runs done for a few weeks in 1998 when Bruichladdich was officially closed. It was done by the team from Jura who came over to Islay to do it. Back in Willie Tait's time I believe. I think they are pretty decent malts.
