Haven't tried the Brora yet, but if anyone around here knows anything about it, I'd love to hear.

The Stagg on the other hand I did try. WOW, what a bourbon.

Nose - oak, leather, vanilla, roasted nuts
Taste/mouth feel - Sweet initially, followed by spice in the back of one's mouth, finished by oak and tannins. Thick and mouth coating.
Finish - CHOCOLATE! Absolutely amazing, even my wife enjoyed it.

One of the most sensational drinking experiences I've had in a while.

I KNEW there was something besides the changing of season, but I couldn't remember what it was until I saw your post

I finished off a 2004 bottling last year that was at a little lower proof than yours (had it for 4 years at that point). Excellent bourbon, like ambrosia.
