Tasted the Bowmore Tempest tonight. Possibly the best Bowmore I have tasted yet. It is fantastic neat but when a drop of water was added, it picked up an amazing saltiness that just blew me away.
It also does not have the perfume/floral notes that many Bowmore's have which was happy about. Truly an amazing dram!

Would love to try it, but once again those of us in the U.S.A. are screwed once again. I have many great things about it.

The whisky exchange has the tempest and they ship to the US.
