My dad just picked up a bottle of Bank Note (5-year blend) for about $16. Pretty good for that price.

I like Black Grouse. It's just under $30.

I'm just replying to show how in South Africa, our buck gets banged
(posted in US$. 1US$ = R10 .. Rands).

HP 12YO - $50
HP 18YO - $130
GlenMo Orig - $40
GlemMo Nec - $45
Talisker 10YO - $55
Laph QC - $60
Laph 10YO -$50
Lagavulin 16YO - $90
Caol Ila 12YO - $60
Glenlivet Nadura - $80
Ardbeg 10YO - $50
JWalker Blue - $200
JWalker Red - $17
Jameson - $21

The only way to try and get around this is to be on the lookout for specials at the bigger retailers who can drop prices by a significant amount. You have to be quick on the draw there.

Think yourself lucky. Apart from Laga 16, JW Blue and CI 12 all cheaper than Australia.
Try $33 for JW Red and $40 for Jameson's as a couple of for instances.

HP 18, Laga 16 and Nadura are a little off but the rest are about right. Ok HP 12 is a little high.

Agree with Sean. Some other exceptions can be seen based on regional areas in the US and also some store specifics. HP 18 is more typically 100 in the LA Market. Laga 16 is anywhere from 60 to 110. JW Blue is 150.
