Bell's Islander

Postby Lawrence » Wed Apr 28, 2004 4:10 pm

I was glancing through Jim Murray's book "Classic Blended Scotch" and saw a reference on "Bell's Islander" blended whisky. The labels notes " a taste of the Isles". Has anybody ever tasted it and is is a current blend or has it left the market?

It's great and out of production so if you ever find it you will be doing well.

Luvian's in Cupar, Fife had a few miniatures in stock the last time I was there and you will occasionally find miniatures but that's about it.

I last saw a bottle about 3 years ago and I bought it.

That's a shame, it seems like a natural for today's market, perhaps it was just a bit ahead of it's time.
