couldnt resist trying this one....oranges and coffee on the nose, a sweet and spicey taste, bit like dried fruits left in your mums baking jars from the previous Chrimbo...after taste like a fruit brandy. :dead:

I recently purchased this one myself. It is lovely but at more than $200 I was expecting much more for the money.

I like peat, so this is my favorite Glenmorangie, but I wouldn't pay over $80 for a bottle.

Incidentally, the other Glenmo that I like is Quinta Ruban, and it is worth what they charge for it.

I wouldn't argue that point. However, I still prefer the original (43%ABV) bottlings of Glenmorangie Port Wood over the Quinta Ruban.

Quinta Ruben is ok and a not particularly convincing port finished number. Bought one, wouldn't buy another. Signet is more like a whisky liquerer than a straight up whisky in style. Nice, interesting, but very sweet and to be had in small doses IMO. I prefer the 18 and the 10 remains a solid, every day bargain dram.

Oops  . It's not peated, it has dark-roasted "chocolate" malt. It's still my favorite. I think I need to find another wee dram, though...
