Glenmorange 25

I had the opportunity to try this recently and thought I would give a few thougts on it. My first impression was that it was really smooth with a malty sweetness. The more it lingered, the more I felt that this was not just a simple sweetness but layers of sweet barley. In some ways it reminded me of the 18 but far more subtle. Then I recalled the 18 Chateau Margaux that was released 4/5 years ago but not quite as sweet. For those that haven't tried these it wasn't quite as sweet as say the Nectar D'or and had a more complex yet subtle palate.

I really did like this; I could drink from a bottle of this all night long. I'd seriously consider a bottle for the price at Whisky Exchange but not what they charge here in the States.
