Cadenhead Classic Highland Pure Malt?

Has anyone here had a Vatted Malt called Cadenhead's Classic Highland Pure Malt?
It has no caramel added, and no chill-filtering and is bottled at 50% ABV. I got it on sale for $39.99. After tasting it, it may be a vatting but a huge portion of it has to be Highland Park. It taste pretty similar to MacPhail's Collection 8 yr. Highland Park (good stuff and cheap), except at a nice 50% ABV instead of 40%. I also tast a bit more of a sherry influence. Anyway, very nice for the price.

Has anyone else had this?

A personal favourite, unfortunately discontinued, fortunately replaced with another yummer- Duthies 46% Highland blended malt. No idea of components. At time of bottling it was a 'pure' malt so could have been a single or 'vatting' of 2 or more malts. or variations of these possibilities.

Discontinued, huh? That explains why I am getting $20 off. It is a little on the hot side neat, but I like that. Just like I prefer 95-120 proof bourbons and ryes.

Not on this side of the big pond, the last bottles of many types of liquor normally end up in a bargain bin even SMW, specially if they've been sitting there for a long time taking up shelf space. I've even found (and bought) Ardbeg '77 in a bargain bin!
