Proof 66, Buffalo Trace

Postby peatypete » Thu May 10, 2012 5:01 pm

Never tried a Buffalo Trace bourbon ($20), planning to pick one up after work today. But noticed that Proof66 has it rated as the #1 out of the top 20 whiskey list they have.

Agree or disagree? I know everyone's taste differs, but they claim their rating is an aggregate of critics, awards, ratings etc.

Disagree. Spend the extra $2-4 on a bottle of Evan Williams Vintage Single Barrel Bourbon. Yes, it costs more, but the quality of the spirit is worth it.
