I recently consumed OLD MULL, a blend which I had not heard of before. It came heavily recommended by my whisky store manager and picked it up in "good faith".
Must confess I found the palate rather robust and developed .
Haven't found much information about this blend except that it possibly contains a fair amount of Oban.
Any views?

It's made by Whyte and Mackay, I believe.
It costs about £11, which is probably about right.
It's not bad and does have a slightly coastal taste about it but there are other drams available for about the same price which I prefer.
