I introduced a topic on Longmorn about a year or so ago that had quite a few subsequent posts and contributors. Not sure if you can dig it up on the archives.
I posted my original message after opening a bottle of Longmorn and noting that it had quite a "hot" mouthfeel and palate compared to more velvety Longmorn drams I'd enjoyed in the past.
I don't think it's a particularly rare malt - it's widely available in most markets. However, it's in the Chivas group, so marketing-wise, it has to take a back seat to Glenlivet and Chivas Regal.
