old pultney is a nice drink, is it mass produced or are there any editions worth keeping?

My favorate is the millennium cask strength bottling. I think it is a 15yo... very rich and flavorful. It has the most prominent cinamon notes I've ever picked up in a whisky.

The Tasting Room features 4 expressions,
including the 15 yo millennium, the 15 yo sherry cask finish and the 18 yo sherrywood
finish in addition to the 12 yo.

Combined scores run around 15/16 with the 18 yo seeming to be the best of the bunch. I have only tasted the 15 yo sherry cask which I wouldn't choose to do again, so in my view neither a drinker nor a keeper!

I have only tasted the 12, which is lovely - but very much a drinker, not a keeper. I suspect sherry would ruin it.

I had a single cask version once, from Old Pulteney, it was a 9Y old bottled in 2000, it was quite good.....

Old Pulteney 12 is a fine ful-bodied dram with a medium sherry character and a distinctively sea-salty flavour. I haven't had any others.

It's currently going cheap in your local Co-op so snap it up fast!
