Suntory Royal anygood?

I have seen a bottle for sale (good price) but don't know the whisky. I've liked the suntory I've tasted in the past but this is a blend. It says 86 proof on bottle and has a 60th anniversary tag on it.

Yes, I've got a half-finished bottle of this at home right now.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried other Suntory (or Japanese, for that matter) bottlings, so I don't know how it compares relatively.

However, it's certainly an enjoyable enough dram on its own merits. It reminds me of a coastal highland malt, perhaps a bit like Clynelish or Oban?
