Best "young" whisky

Bowmore Legend is good at 8yr old.

Glendullan is also very good if you can get it at 8yr old. It's probably better than the 12 yr old.

Other than that, I'd be hard pushed to recall any malts that I've had at less than 10 yr that are easily available.

Have just returned from a trip to Scotland, picked up a bottle of the Arran, and a bottle of the 8yr old Glenburgie to try

The Glenburgie is fine if somewhat "thin" in the mouth. Taste wise it is very passable and makes an excellent everyday whisky...7/10

I have since found the age statement on the Tallisker. Already it tastes better, more mature.
