Whisky of the Year 2012

Postby Onefortheditch » Sun Dec 02, 2012 10:33 am

What is the best whisky you have had in 2012? For me it’s Benromach Hermitage Wood Finish and it only costs around £30. When I bought it at the distillery, I was told the wine taste was not very noticeable – but I think it is. It is delicious, I hope to get more.

Most of the whiskies that I have tried were available in prior years. There were some really terrific ones in there. I would have to really think about what is new to the market over the last year. I did like the Benriach 20 I got in July.

Ok, given it some thought. I'll go with the Balvenie Tun 1401 batch 6
