Craigellachie 1970 (33 yr?), Murray McDavid Mission 3

Postby qcumber » Thu Mar 17, 2005 5:21 am

I picked up a few bottles of this, mostly because I was born in 1970 and I thought it would be cool to drink from a bottle that can at least sympathize with how old I am. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody has tried this, and if so, what their opinion was/is? One of the Malt Maniacs gave it a 90/100, but without tasting notes so I'm pretty much flying blind. I'll be happy to provide my opinion after I try it, of course, but that might not be for a few months as I have many other bottles open currently. Thanks for your input/help.

Oh my goodness. This is very good. Can I possibly buy a bottle from you? Its as good as my 30YO GlenGoyne that I paid a lot more for. Lots of complex tastes, little peat taste if any. Very smooth. Lingers on the palate.
Jim in Denver, CO. I hand carried my last bottle back (when you could still do that on Airplanes). jim@150sports.com
